Sometimes, without thinking or much planning, a piece comes together effortlessly. That's how I'm feeling about this new piece.
 

Close up detail of this beautiful new piece. I've purposely give this artwork lots of negative space to really highlight the blended sky and to capitolise on the rich browns and black that make up the land surface and textures.

Typically, my artworks take quite a while to do as there's many layers, drying time, more layers, more drying and then finishing touches.

I often have several on the go.
This one just came together perfectly and I'm so happy with the finished product
