A desert is a barren region of landscape where little precipitation occurs and, consequently, living conditions are hostile for plant and animal life.
This piece highlights the dryness of the land. The lack of any vegetation with only small nuances of colour to demonstrate the calm.
I've changed this one up a little from my standard textured landscapes as I wanted to show a more grid like existence.
Layers of parallels that convey depth of field. I love the way this piece looks. It still has lots of texture and the signature palette I use, but it feels different from the others.
It's framed in Tassie Oak and would great hung as a centrepiece in a hallway, or Country kitchen.
